LOL

Stavalya doesn't know what he's talking about.

This is great stuff man, though I'm not too familiar with this kind of genre, and even though IMO (IMO!) it sounds a tad messy...

This sounds SOOOOOOOOOOOOO like the menu/shop music in Gran Turismo.

That's a compliment, because the music in GT is great, and this definitely resembles it.

Keep it up man

Hacsev responds:

Thanks! I will! And, yeah, Stavalya is a moron!

maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan

You could've made it sound sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet when the melody was going at 1:41. Instead of the bassline constantly bumbling around at random notes you could've made that "going down, then back up" bassline, which would've definitely complimented the saw melody and put some power into the track.

It is kind of repetitive though, I dont think this deserves Front Page, sorry :(

Telliath responds:

Ok. Well you are entitled to your opinion. Thanks but btw, Top 5 is auto generated. Noone "Deserves" or doesn't deserve it. It's a rigged system and should be fixed. It's very biased at this point. Thanks for the review though. :)

I love this so much

It reminds me so much of what I was listening to about an hour ago.

"live @ Pirate Station 2008" Noisia

....

>>>>>>>>>>>>XD

You gotta DL it, torrent or something, its so amazing.

Anyway, awesome track. Love how basic it is >XD Really pumping though, good stuff dude.

StereoTactik responds:

this is a pretty bad song :P

that pirate station set is pretty dope, although the sound quality and the mc are reeeally fucking annoying

Dude

Dude that filter on your bass when it was building up was amazing.

The beat sounds nice too

Check out some of my stuff if you ever get the chance, thanks :D

Nav responds:

Thanks for the review! I'll take a look later tonight.

Crap I already reviewed this! ><

I wrote a long review saying how awesome it was, but I guess that review never came in.

Anyway, AMAZING track man, those drums are just awesome. I love the bass too and just the whole insanity factor of it all.

Really great dnb, ESPECIALLY for a game. :D

S3C responds:

aww, i hate when that happens >_<

Thanks man, I'm glad you find this one good!

Niiiiiiiiiice

Epic Heavy Metal Acid Techno Trance :P

I like how weird and messy it is, while at the same time actually being mixed down very nicely, and VERY listenable lol

The weird squishy "koo wee hoo hoo" sound is nice, and man lol, it turns into some kind of epic guitar-solo sadness thing that reminds me of friggin' Final Fantasy 6 World Map for some reason lollll

You really fit a lot of elements into this, even though it may not seem like it.

Lol its so random, and yet so well done. Like everything you think wouldn't work together, you did it, and you made it work together.

It doesn't really seem to get repetitive either, nice stuff man :D

Shame you didn't go out and hangout or anything lol.

Well yea i cant say anymore about it lol.

Interesting composition. Hahahhaah make it into drumnbass!!!! :D

SolusLunes responds:

Epic Heavy Metal Acid Techno Trance.

Awesome.

Yeah, there is truly a lot going on in this song, and I'm quite happy with how everything sits in the mix, the synth leads are very clear and don't get caught up in the mix, the pads are possible to go by unnoticed, but if they weren't there, the song wouldn't have anywhere near the power it does. The drums, well, they're very much audible through the entire song.

It was just a lot of work making sure none of the frequencies from any of the instruments clashed :D

It's not repetitive because the melody changed throughout the whole song :D

Sounds great dude!

Alot like DimRain LOOOOOOOOOL If you remember him :P

Nice stuff though, beat isn't too bad either.

Kid2Will responds:

I remember listening to DimRain a long time ago. And haha Ive listened to your stuff many times =P

True the Amen break did get a bit annoying.

But you somehow kept it consistent throughout the track with the really clumped-together snare fade-outs. Though yea it gets a bit annoying :P

Lol

Keep it up man!

Btw check out some of my DrumNBass if and when you have the time :D

Idiosyncratic responds:

i'll check your stuff out.

also, i've explained before my intense fetish for the amen.

It sounds really nice

But I can't hear much "Drum and Bass" in this, just drums, and repetitive drums at that. The whole melody aspect of the track is sweet though.

Really soft sounds, I like that. Also that arping thing at the end, that actually sounded REALLY good. I don't think it was in the original either, and yea, it was a really nice touch.

Keep it up. But look into your dnb and try and make it more like, well, dnb :P

SRT-M1tch responds:

Thanks for reviewing!

You need a louder kick

I cant really hear a clear kick, try layering a low breakbeat-style kick over your drumloop, EQ out like 100hz from the lows of your amen break and or breaks (:P) and put the breakbeat kick in, and to make it a bit punchier, boost the kick at like 70-80 hz. :D

Nice little track though

alextheDJ responds:

Thanks for the advice! Yah, after I uploaded it here, I noticed that it was lacking a solid kick. I'll keep that in mind :)

Check out my music. Anywho, I make hard trance, trance, dnb (now), and happy hardcore, o and i made some ambient, and did i mention i love vegetable ice cream? (WOW CORNY JOKE) lolz. im tired. bye.
